When I am not behind a camera or editing on my computer you can find me baking something in the kitchen, wrapped up in a cozy blanket with a good book or spending time with my husband and two girls.
I specialize in creating handcrafted fine art documentary style films that tell your story. My style is romantic, feminine and emotive. I believe there is something sacred about being able to capture the world around me and allowing others to see it as I do.
I am already looking forward to the day I can put a camera in their hands and have them tag along with me!
I honestly love what I do so much but my greatest joy in life is being a wife and mother. So much of who I am is embedded in these roles. My two girls and my sweet husband are my absolute everything. I love that I have found something that allows me to use my creativity and also be home. But most importantly, I love that I get to show my girls that:
My whole life I have been fascinated with telling people’s stories through film but felt like I could never pursue videography because of my eyesight. Afterall, videography is very much a vision driven field. I studied film in college with an emphasis in producing & documentary where my love of telling stories was nurtured, but I longed to be the one behind the camera. After going back and forth for years and with lots of encouragement from my sweet husband I went full time in May of 2016! I hope I can show my girls that you should never let anything get in the way of your dreams. I used to get a little self conscious and try to brush it off when people would bring up my eyesight in regards to being a videographer
